Piano Removal

How much does piano removal cost?
It depends on the type of piano and where it is sitting. An upright on the ground floor is a very different job from a grand in a finished basement. Call or text 937-768-9684 with the type and the location and we will price it before we come out.
Do you take grand pianos?
Yes. A grand has to be partly dismantled first, so we take the legs and lyre off and move it on a piano board. Tell us it is a grand when you call so we send the right size crew.
Can you get a piano out of a basement?
Yes, and it is one of the more common calls we get. Stairs are a crew size problem, not an impossible one. Let us know how many steps there are and whether there is a turn at the bottom.
Will my walls and floors get damaged?
That is what the straps, dollies and door frame protection are for. A piano moved by two people without the right equipment is how walls get damaged.
Can you donate my piano instead of scrapping it?
If it is playable and in good condition we will try. In practice most charities and schools no longer accept donated pianos, because tuning and moving one costs more than the piano is worth. We will tell you honestly which category yours falls into.
Do you remove organs and player pianos too?
Yes. Pump organs, electric organs and player pianos all count, including the heavy cabinet models that will not fit through a standard door without coming apart.
