Can you get a treadmill out of a basement?
Yes, and it is the most common version of this call. A treadmill can be folded or partly stripped to get through a doorway and around a stair turn, and we do that on site.
Do you take weights and plates?
Yes. Dumbbells, kettlebells, olympic and bumper plates, bars and racks. Weight is dense rather than bulky so it is straightforward, we just bring enough people for it.
Does the equipment need to work?
No. A seized treadmill or a cable machine with a snapped cable is worth exactly the same to us as a working one. It does not need to be in usable condition.
Do you dismantle machines?
Where it is needed, yes. Racks, smith machines and multi gyms come apart at the bolts and we do that as part of the job rather than charging it as an extra.
Can you clear a whole home gym in one visit?
Usually yes. A full basement gym with a rack, a treadmill, a bench and a set of plates is a single trip for us. Send a photo and we will confirm before the day.
Do you take gym mats and mirrors?
Yes. Rubber flooring, foam mats and wall mirrors all go with the rest. Mirrors get wrapped before they move so nothing breaks on the way out.
