Do you pull the carpet up, or just take it away?
Both. Tearing it out is the bigger half of the job. You do not need to have started, and you do not need to have moved anything.
Do you take the tack strip and staples out?
Yes. Tack strip around the perimeter comes up and staples get pulled, because leaving either means the next floor cannot go down flat.
How much carpet can you take at once?
Anything from one room to a whole house. Carpet takes far more truck space than people expect once it is rolled, so give us the room sizes and we will bring the right truck.
Can you do stairs?
Yes. Stairs are slower because every tread is its own piece, but they are part of a normal job rather than a surcharge.
Do you move the furniture first?
We can. Say so when you call so the time is allowed for, and the crew will shift furniture out and back, or into the next room while we work.
Do you take vinyl and laminate as well?
Yes. Sheet vinyl, glue down laminate, engineered wood and tile all come up on the same visit if the whole floor is being replaced.
